Main: Edgers: Edger Optimizer: Product Number : 4114 Description : - 6" x 30" Rebuilt Newnes Combination Edger. The edger is center feed but has three (3) shifting saws for boards and a gang cluster that is shifted into the center of the edger to process 4" and 6" cants (5 saws on 6/4). If you only wanted to process boards, the shifting cluster could be made into a fourth shifting saw to give 3 board logic to the solution of the incoming board.- Gang runs @ 400 FPM - Boards run @ 700-800 FPM (15 pieces/minute) - Material length - 8' - 26' - Material thickness - 1" to 2" and 4" on board side, 4" and 6" on gang - Material widths - 3-1/2" to 24" (board side), 3-1/2" to 8-3/4" (cant) - Arbor drive - 400 HP (by customer) - Edger feed drive - 50 HP (by customer) - Linear positioners for shifting saws (I need to confirm this but I believe they are included) - New TMT 6" x 30" Positioning Table - Center feeding Sharp chain - Right hand - Five (5) only 8-1/2" diameter smooth chromed pressrolls - Six (6) hydraulic pin stop assemblies - Five (5) independent linear positioner assemblies - Newnes outfeed picker Items needed to complete system: - Arbor and feed drive motors (400 HP and 50 HP) - Lubrication system for edger guides - Scanner transfer with board catches in front of scanner transfer - Scanner c/w optimization - PLC control package c/w operating console - Hydraulic power unit - Extra saws and guides
